Nederland Elementary

Nederland Elementary is a school within the Boulder Valley School District. Located in Nederland, Colorado, this tuition-free co-educational public school serves diverse students in Preschool-Grade 5. This school also offers free and tuition preschool classes that have a focus on both academic and developmental learning standards. 

How Is Our School Unique?

Nederland Elementary School educates about 280 children ranging from three years old to eleven, encompassing a preschool and grades kindergarten to fifth grade. We serve families who live in the mountains of Colorado at an elevation of 8,000 feet above sea level. Our families live in unique mountain settings with views of 13,000-foot peaks, where wildlife abounds.  Our building was built in the side of a mountain, and we are surrounded by National Forest land with trails and open space. The aspen trees are particularly beautiful in the fall, when they turn a vibrant yellow.
